Philips Light Deco
Frontpoint Develop has been a partner of the Philips Asia video product line from 2006 to 2010. During the five years, we have been involved in product designing and development for all LCD, LCD TVs and HDMI wireless boxes. As a world-renowned home appliance brand, Philips has certain tonality for its own brand image and product design. After understanding the product meaning and brand strategy for that year, we internalized this into the entire video product design process.
What is worth mentioning in the design process is the series of products that interpret the smile curve logo. We tried many different rendering methods, such as the pictographic concept of giving a smile curve on the light display, appearance and three-dimensional structure. At the same time, through the difference in color matching, we created a series of consistent but diverse products.
